Transforming Culture Symposium

Last week some folks from Cedar Springs (see picture #2 below) and I were able to attend the Transforming Arts Symposium in Austin, TX, hosted by the fine folks at the beautiful First Evangelical Free Church. I don't have nearly the time to fill you in on the true greatness of the event, but if you go to David Taylor's blog, you'll find a play by play of the symposium. David's dad, Bill, did a lot of the emceeing at the symposium, and mailed me these pictures. I believe David is going to have the plenary sessions from each of the speakers (picture #1 below) uploaded to his site. (If I get permission, I'll post them here; but there may be some copyright issues at stake.) Whatever the case, the sessions were so good that they are going to be published in book form (Eerdmans?). Check back here for updated info.

(Crucifixion by unknown South African artist who was tortured. I'll correct this info when I get his name. I was changed forever after seeing this.)
